Why Phantom Bridge? A phantom bridge is vaguely defined as a lost bridge that goes nowhere. Perhaps the most famous one is in Japan. The Taushubetsu Bridge. It, a once traveled railroad bridge, is now under water much of the year. But phantom bridges can be found anywhere. Bridges that once let people get to or go somewhere, are now hidden under water, or simply weeded over down lost trails. Perhaps a defunct railroad that has since been decommissioned.
